The "Milking Parlor"

When I began milking goats it was as basic as one could be.
 1 Goat. 1 Bucket.
Then I upgraded to goats, stainless milking totes, strip cup and a milking stand !

Note the step for my Nigerians to get up on the higher stand. Easier for you to milk.

We invested in a Simple Pulse Milking machine and dedicated an area in the barn.
Since we live in Arizona, I did not need an enclosed building,only protection from the heat.
We also have a misting system that runs through the barn.

I found a plastic storage shed to store all my goat supplies when not in use.

I also put down the rubber mats and paving stones to make it easier to keep the place clean.
Chairs and small table come in handy during milk testing.

So as you can see, your "parlor" can be very basic and still meet all your needs.
