Where The Boys Are

We have two separate buck yards. The one shown on top can hold 5 boys easily. The fence is 4 foot tall and the older bucks don't seem to jump.  Each boy has a cubby hole or house (made from old horse tanks and plywood) to get in if it rains, or they want to be alone. The bottom pen has a hot wire above the fencing and it keeps the young, frisky bucks in! Both pens have extra shade cloth sails and covered run in sheds.

The boys are fed in mini stock feeders that we put golf cart tops over to keep the elements out.
